Don’t’ you wish every day to be a good day?  I know I do, but unfortunately this is not always the case in real life.

Working as a traffic warden could sometimes be very difficult and the level of abuse many of them are subjected to on a daily basis as they go to work is shocking. Only a few days ago, a video was released showing a couple of shirtless builders attacking a parking warden following a disagreement over a parking ticket: ‘’I had issued a ticket to the van when one of the men started arguing and hit me on my chest. Then the other two arrived and joined in. They were kicking and punching me and one of them hit me on the head with my radio’’.

The 45-year-old, which name has not been revealed, is only one example of how badly civil enforcement officers are treated on the street while doing their job of keeping parking safe and fair for everyone. Every warden has a similar story, where they are insulted, sworn at, physically intimidated, all in the line of duty.

These are strong messages reinforcing the need and importance of having a lone worker protection in place. It is crucial for businesses to educate their field workers about safety procedures and take the right actions to make sure they have everything they need in the event of an incident.

We are working closely with parking operators and any other organization which has lone workers, to make sure we provide a suitable lone worker protection solution that would keep their road warriors safe and offer them greater peace of mind.
